Scuba Elite came to the Sosua Bay area in early 2009 with the intention of making the Northern Coast of the Dominican Republic a great diving destination. By introducing both retail and rental capacities of modern, innovative equipment and by applying proven training materials and techniques, Scuba Elite is proud to be a leader in diving at present and into the future.

We are the only dive center with an amazing retail selection, our own full size pool for training and testing and we are pioneers in the area with our overnight liveaboard excursions to some of the most beautiful places the Caribbean has to offer. Now with two locations to serve you, technical cave diving and more excursions than ever, the Scuba Elite Team is working harder than ever to ensure that our guests know they are diving with the most sought after and advanced center on the Northern Coast.

We are also proudly fronting the movement of sustainable Geo-Tourism in one of the country’s last cultural and natural sanctuaries and our guests now have the option to enjoy the sheer beauty, relaxation and adventure of over night trips to Punta Rusia.

The owner Kerrie Gunn has many years of experience from all over the world.

Born in Chesterfield Darbyshire, U.K., Kerrie came to the Caribbean with a childhood fear of water no thanks to JAWS…that was years ago.

She took her first dive course as a consequence of a lost bet she made over one too many Cuba Libres and now over her fear, she feels safer in the water than out of it! For over two years Kerrie has been dedicated to professional diving and has experience working in both the Caribbean and Europe. Kerrie brings a quality of professionalism not seen in anybody else. Somehow she manages to make any situation fun and everyone always goes home smiling, especially when she’s taking amazing pictures during every dive!
